Validation of the content od teaching Guidelines Patients under Chemotherapy and their relatives

This is the validation of the content and understanding of the instrument of written communication “Guidance Guideline for Patients in Chemotherapy Treatment and their Families”. Three careguivers were contacted at the Institute of Pediatric Clinic Bolívar Risso / GRENDACC (Group of Defense to the Children with Cancer), located in Jundiaí – SP. The data were collected by means of an instrument with nine semi-structured questions, and an open for suggestions. Data analysis allowed assessment guideline of the topics considered satisfactory and which need to be reformed. The replies of the open question were carefully read and meanings of their nuclei were identified, classified and incorporated into the guideline, according to contribution to improving the content. The outcome is to exploit the guideline as useful material that subsidize verbal information provided in daily practice.
