Interventional radiology is an emerging medical specialty in the treatment of
oncological disease, but the nurse's competence is poorly defined, contributing to fragmentation of care, staffing errors and role ambiguity. This reflection aims to clarify the core profile of skills of the nurse who is part of the imaging department at hospital level.
