School Health Nursing: Substance Consumption

Abstract

In the continuous process of cares given to each person, the primary prevention reveals itself as of vital importance, actuating on health’s promotion, together with prevention and attempt to reduce the risks and problems that everyone faces.
One of the methods employed in primary health care are the Projects of Intervention on Community.
In this case, the group developed a project about the use of substances: alcohol, tobacco and drugs, which was directed to students of basic school. Through the use of a questionnaire, we obtained results that justified the actions of education for health on this matter, aiming to call the attention of young people for the danger of this type of life’s style.
