A escuta ativa na pessoa com doença oncológica: uma scoping review

Introdução: Uma comunicação eficaz baseada na escuta ativa é fundamental no cuidado centrado na pessoa com doença oncológica.
Objetivo: Mapear a evidência sobre a utilização da escuta ativa na comunicação clínica em pessoas com doença oncológica, identificando as indicações e os resultados reportados.
Metodologia: Scoping review segundo a metodologia do Joanna Briggs Institute e as orientações do PRISMA-ScR. Pesquisa realizada nas bases de dados MEDLINE, CINAHL Complete, JBI Library of Systematic Reviews, Cochrane Database, SciELO, RCAAP, OpenGrey e WorldCat®, sem restrições temporais ou linguísticas.
Resultados: Foram incluídos seis artigos. As dimensões da intervenção identificadas incluem a presença e atenção focalizada, a abertura e atitude recetiva, o respeito pelas emoções, sentimentos e crenças, a disponibilidade e a valorização da comunicação não verbal. A escuta ativa é recomendada em contextos que requerem suporte emocional, psicológico ou espiritual, tanto em fases específicas da doença como ao longo de toda a trajetória oncológica, estando associada a outcomes relevantes no cuidado à pessoa com doença oncológica.
Conclusão: A escuta ativa constitui uma ferramenta estratégica na relação terapêutica, sendo relevante como intervenção de enfermagem autónoma no contexto oncológico.
