Avaliação da relação entre a ocorrência de anemia e o impacto da fadiga na qualidade de vida dos doentes submetidos a quimioterapia

O aumento da fadiga em doentes com cancro tem sido correlacionado com o desenvolvimento de anemia induzida pela quimioterapia (AIQ). Existe informação escassa acerca da proporção de doentes oncológicos portugueses que desenvolvem AIQ, assim como acerca do seu tratamento. Este estudo pretendeu avaliar o impacto da AIQ e do seu tratamento na qualidade de vida (QoL) dos doentes oncológicos portugueses. Pretendeu também caracterizar as opções terapêuticas para a anemia nestes doentes.
