Enfermagem Narrativa na Prática Clínica: Uma Revisão Integrativa

Introdução: A enfermagem narrativa é uma abordagem emergente que promove cuidados humanizados e centrados na pessoa ao integrar as histórias de vida dos pacientes na prática clínica.
Objetivo: Explorar o uso da narrativa na prática de cuidados de enfermagem, identificando as suas aplicações, benefícios e resultados.
Metodologia: Uma revisão integrativa com pesquisa em quatro bases de dados internacionais em abril de 2025 resultou em 2.933 registos, dos quais oito estudos cumpriram os critérios de inclusão. A qualidade metodológica foi avaliada utilizando a lista de verificação JBI.
Resultados: Os estudos incluídos abrangem ensaios teóricos, análises reflexivas e investigação primária. A enfermagem narrativa demonstrou desenvolver competências clínicas, fortalecer relações terapêuticas, empoderar os pacientes e apoiar práticas pedagógicas e reflexivas.
Conclusão: A revisão destaca a enfermagem narrativa como uma abordagem emergente, capaz de transformar os cuidados através de relações mais profundas entre enfermeiro e paciente, tornando-os mais humanizados e centrados na pessoa. Esta prática promove a empatia, melhora a comunicação, fortalece a relação terapêutica e fomenta o empoderamento do paciente. A sua integração na prática clínica pode melhorar a qualidade dos cuidados e as interações entre enfermeiros e pacientes.
